Writers with tools. Readers with choices.

Supporting writers and readers interests are important to us - and our mantra is to support writers with tools and readers interests with choices.

Format is important... but not as important as choice

People read for information, knowledge or the experience - and when we pay for a book we buy it for the words and images it gives us - not for the format it comes in. So when you buy a book which is available on MeeQi, you have them available in all the key e-book formats so you can read them on the device you choose - whether its a mobile phone, iPhone, netbook, computer, email, printed hardcopy or, of course, an e-reader like the Kindle or Sony PRS-505.

Readers like to sample

Although book covers have an important role in helping us choose what to read, how we choose what to read is changing - by peeking inside further than just the cover and synopsis. So we provided a place where writers can add samples and previews of the book which anyone can download them for free.

Not everyone writes to be published - but everyone writes to be read

MeeQi helps writers who have written a book, to easily publish their book online - we believe that just as a painting may not have been created to be sold - the painting still deserves to be viewed. Likewise books written without the intention of being published - still deserve the opportunity to be read.

Help writers build their platform

We believe in helping writers build, develop and strengthen their writers platform to help reach more readers - by providing author and book profiles.

The book industry is changing

Technology and the internet is bringing changes to the book industry in ways which put the readers and writers in control. We now have far more choices to write and read what we choose.

Let readers choose what to read - not publishers

We firmly believe the role of a publisher is vital for books. But the difficulty publishers face is - which books to publish. Some make it. Some don't. We feel that choice should be for the readers.
