Chung Nguyen

Proactive and very much results-driven, I apply energy, vision and leadership to build scalable enterprises which have good moral and ethical intent - with personal business interests in creating disruptive innovations to positively develop markets, behaviour and communities.

I can be happily catalogued as a 'morning person'. I enjoy waking up to natural sunlight and absolutely love getting an early head start to the day whilst most are still bed (plus sunrises on the Worthing coastline aren't reserved for those who are still asleep). Give me a beautiful sunny day and you will find that I am even more charged, driven and energetic than normal (hence the reference to being solar-powered!)

I'm interested in collaborating with people, who too, want to make some positive changes to the world.

A great quick read. I finished it in around 30 minutes.
I downloaded the text version of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and saved a copy on my SD card, which I plugged into my Nokia e61 (ancient, yes I know) for a bit of light reading on the train to meet a few friends. It was quite an entertaining story, and although I took a few minutes to pause and reflect on key stages in the story, I managed to finish reading the whole story in around 30 minutes. It was honestly, perfect for the journey, as I started reading once I managed to find myself a seat and then by the time I had finished the story, the train was just about to pull up at my stop. The story was an easy, quick read with a really interesting concept, which once I reflect back on, was actually quite touching. Top marks as a Sixty Minute Story, as I managed to finish it in about 30 minutes, despite the diddly screen that is mobile phone :)

Great short story which left me with a smile on my face
A great short story which left me with a smile on my face. A very simple read with simple language makes it suitable for kids. The thing which I love a book or film to do, is to leave me thinking the lives of the characters after the story has ended.

Famous short story which was adapted to film
This famous little short story was adapted to film starring Sean Connery and Michael Caine. This DRM-free short story took me just shy of 40 minutes to read, on my iPod Touch. I felt the story itself started quite complicated and slow but nearing the last half of the story, it really started to pick up pace. The story is told from the perspective of a journalist, and is about two adventurers who set out, and successfully, become Kings of a remote part of Afghanistan - and of their experience and downfall as Kings. Quite hard to get into, but if you can it does lead onto quite a nice hour-filling read. Personally, I like the more humorous and funny short story.

Heart-touching and immersive
Jack show just how great a short story writer he is and his use of language to paint a detailed and immersive world astonished me. After reading this and A Piece of Steak (http://www.meeqi.com/media/a-piece-of-steak), I'm finding myself to be a huge Jack London fan.

A battle (quite literally) between Age and Youth
You wouldn't imagine it from the title, but A Piece of Steak is a short story about an ageing boxer and tells of the differences between Age and Youth in a way which leaves you wondering about the wonders of mortality. I read this whilst on the train and quite literally I was gripped. The story itself was incredibly exciting and after taking about 30 minutes to read it, I went back over the story again just to see how the author Jack London made me feel so involved and excited. I still cant work it out. So Im going back to read it again. Hey, its only 30 minutes. I'd rather read this again than watch some boring soap on tv. Of course I cant spoil the ending, but I do wish it turned out a little differently.
